Blood Roses Bite #15

As you know, I read all my reviews. To go with today’s Bite, I have to say this quote from Fiona at I Heart Books is just perfect:

“The story quickly becomes something far more when they discover that fate didn’t bring them together. They were, in fact, destined to find each other. Their lives have always been inextricably linked, and finding themselves in the situation they have ended up in was not just a random coincidence. Other forces are at work behind the scenes, forcing them both to accept the inevitable.

But can that future be changed? Can they find another way? Or will destiny play the cruelest trick on them both, forcing them to follow their predetermined destiny, regardless of their feelings?”

Thanks, Fiona – hope you didn’t mind me quoting you!

It’s Blood Roses Bite #15…

Blood Roses Bite #9

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! It’s scary to think it’s been over a week since the launch of Blood Roses. Don’t forget, if you’re signed up with Goodreads, you can be in with another chance of winning a signed paperback of the book!

So, apart from the obvious, what exactly does Leila see in such a badly-behaved, irredeemable vampire? Here’s Blood Roses Bite #9…

Blood Roses Bite #7

Only Leila can get away with talking to Caleb like that. It’s Blood Roses Bite #7!

One of the most interesting aspects of creating Blackthorn was placing humans at the top of the pecking order. I didn’t only find this concept intriguing in relation to how my human characters would respond, but also how the third species community would cope with the oppressive measures put in place.

But have you ever wondered why the third species allowed themselves to be put in this position in the first place? You’ll get more hints in Blood Torn.

Another Bite tomorrow!

Blood Roses Bite #6

You know how much I love reader involvement with Blackthorn. A few months ago, Bookouture and I asked you to vote on your preferred design of Bites on Pinterest ready for the launch of Blood Roses. This style came through as the winner. So here’s Blood Roses Bite #6, with the twist you liked and words chosen by YOU to describe the series so far…
