Happy Monday, everyone! Aww – only a few more Bites to go. So, let’s kick-start the week with a little bit of friendly banter between Caleb and Leila. Well, er, you know what I mean…
It’s Blood Roses Bite #13…
Is it just me, or do you get the feeling Caleb means what he says? He’s certainly not one to cross – as will become ever clearer as the series progresses. It’s Blood Roses Bite #12…
Caleb’s quote proved very popular yesterday! It’s fab to know Leila isn’t the only one he’s managed to reel in. 😉 But reel her in though he may, Leila’s no push-over. Having a hero as dark as Caleb necessitates a heroine not afraid to stand up to him. It’s Blood Roses Bite #11…
When I write the dialogue between my characters, I never imagine snippets appearing on Bites. Is Caleb being playful in this one? Or is it a warning? Sometimes the tension is all about not quite knowing. Here’s Blood Roses Bite #10…
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! It’s scary to think it’s been over a week since the launch of Blood Roses. Don’t forget, if you’re signed up with Goodreads, you can be in with another chance of winning a signed paperback of the book!
So, apart from the obvious, what exactly does Leila see in such a badly-behaved, irredeemable vampire? Here’s Blood Roses Bite #9…
Blood Roses reviews are coming in and Caleb Dehain is certainly creating some interesting reactions from readers! I did warn you he was dark. Very dark.
Here’s Blood Roses Bite #8…
Happy Friday, everyone! I’ll be back with another Bite on Monday. 🙂
Only Leila can get away with talking to Caleb like that. It’s Blood Roses Bite #7!
One of the most interesting aspects of creating Blackthorn was placing humans at the top of the pecking order. I didn’t only find this concept intriguing in relation to how my human characters would respond, but also how the third species community would cope with the oppressive measures put in place.
But have you ever wondered why the third species allowed themselves to be put in this position in the first place? You’ll get more hints in Blood Torn.
Another Bite tomorrow!
You know how much I love reader involvement with Blackthorn. A few months ago, Bookouture and I asked you to vote on your preferred design of Bites on Pinterest ready for the launch of Blood Roses. This style came through as the winner. So here’s Blood Roses Bite #6, with the twist you liked and words chosen by YOU to describe the series so far…
There’s another one tomorrow!
I promised you a Blood Roses Bite every day this week, so here’s Bite #5. It’s called ‘Leila’s Story’. You’ll see why…
I know, I know – I don’t make things easy for my heroines. Some battles really are worth fighting though.
Stay close for another Blood Roses Bite tomorrow!
