I think I love how they all got their happy ever after and Rob and Sirius got their just deserts as did Fenith
I just love how strong both male and female, well non humans, characters are. They leave you on the edge of your seat. Life was hard, but they made it through it as best as they could. Sometimes unscathed and sometimes not. I’d love to win the first prize. I haven’t won much of anything but my husband, and I’m blessed on that aspect. Thanks for your consideration.
A fantastic giveaway! Not liking the ‘final’ mentions though, Blackthorn forever 😭❤ xxx
I want to say first, thank you for sharing Blackthorn with us. These stories have saved me a hundred times when I was so stressed out with life I needed the escape. Entering the world you created everytime draws me in completely so all the stress I would feel faded away. I am glad you will continue the Lowtown series to look forward to. This scene is from Blood Dark. It has stayed with me since I first read it. Kane is my favorite character and to finally see what’s in his heart was the most special gift to give…”‘Caitlin, you keep fighting,’he said as he clutched the back of her head. ‘What would I do without you, huh? What would I do without my favourite stalker?’Taking hold of the hand furthest away from him, he interlaced his fingers with hers. ‘I’m too good-looking to die celibate,’he remarked, her faint smile evoking tears in his eyes. ‘There are ways,’he said, leaning closer. ‘Keep fighting, Caitlin, because there is a way for us to be together. It doesn’t have to be like you think.’He slid her hand up under his T-shirt to lay it over his heart. She was going to be too weak to navigate independently, but he could take her there. He could take her deep into his shadow because some sacraments were made to be broken. He would do whatever it took for her to finally know, truly understand, see with her own eyes through his, what she had come to mean to him. He was not losing her without her knowing she had become everything in his world. That she didn’t skirt the periphery as she believed, but that she had become the very core of it. She would feel the extent to which he had come to love her in a way he could never express. And he would give her whatever hope and strength he could: the only thing he had left to give her. As he flattened her palm over his heart, laying his above hers, her eyes flared as she understood what he was doing. She tried to pull back her hand but he wouldn’t let the connection be broken. ‘Trust me,’he said, holding her gaze. He bit into his thumb, his incisor piercing deep. He placed his thumb gently between her lips, ensuring his blood along with his consent, would allow her safe access. ‘Caitlin, trust me.’”
I think one of my favourite scenes was when Feinith got her comeuppance, that was bloody mint Missus!x
I loved the first scene in the hallway between Caitlin and Kane! It really involved me, roped me into the books and started the whole process of falling in love with Kane, Caitlin and the Blackthorn series! Love muwah!!
2nd scene!!!
Adored the pool table scene between Jesse and Eden. The really good one. Where he topples here to the floor and she can’t get free if him! Awesome nummyness! Eden is hawt!! That was a fun one for me!
#3 and is the scene in the last book where Caleb realizes he truly loves Leila. That one made me sob! It was heart-wrenchingly beautiful! It gave me hope!
There were so many it was hard to choose. These are just a few that jumped into my mind. I didn’t add one from Sophie and Jask only because those are the first three that popped into my head, and because I’m getting down to the wire as to when I saw this give away, but not because I didn’t love them just as much! The series was so wonderful! I’ll be re-reading them for years to come!! Thank you!!!
Love this series so much. It’s my new addiction 🥰.
In regards to the giveaway I have to say when Callie bested Kane in a blood Shadows. When that happened I had a good chuckle.
Have a wonderful week 💜
Fantastic giveaway, can hardly believe it’s the last 😢 what an absolutely brilliantly addictive series that gave me my all time favourite book boyfriend (amongst many other wonderful things) So Jask…..my most memorable moment is you…..
The scene in Blood Instinct with Quinn broke my heart but made me love Jask even more if that was possible. Then him seeing Phia just after, I knew together they’d be ok ❤💔😭💖
2nd moment – Jask and Phia in the seedy hotel room in Blood Torn. Omg that was smokin hot 🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤
3rd – tricky as there are so many outstanding moments, so my favourite quote from Blood Bound (Eden is pretty damn hot too)
“When it comes to love, time is nothing more than a socially induced marker of validity. When you simply know, time becomes irrelevant”
❤❤❤ thankyou Lindsay xxxx
I’m going to have to say the bathroom scene between Kaitlyn and cane when she sitting on the sink and she opens her legs because I don’t think she was that type of woman to be dominant like that or that expressive yes she was a cop and she was dominant in that field but I think when it came to cane there was a certain vulnerability with him and her doing that was like such a step out of the box for her and I think he was pleasantly surprised by it too.
I absolutely loved this series but it is definitely a dark read. As I was thinking about scenes I loved I was, of course, thinking about those I could have done without. My first scene is at the very end of Blood Shadows. Kane Malloy was my most favorite character and I really enjoyed the realism of his and Caitlin Parish’s romance. The ending left me with a kind of happy for now but what could they really have as a couple together? It was real, their feelings for each other were real but the actual world they live in had a lot of pretty difficult obstacles to be overcome. At least, that is how I felt after reading the last sentence. Not the hearts and flowers HEA typical to romance for sure.
My second scene is from Blood Deep, a lot of noir elements here and throughout the series but this book is pretty dark. Jesse and Eden rescuing the lycan young was perfect to me. Also, in that horrible Circus atmosphere some people still tried to do the right thing at usually a high personal cost in some way or another.
My third and final favorite scene has to be the last epilogue entry for Blood Broken. As a hopeless romantic, I cried and simply hoped for happiness for all. Wonderful last words. Thank you for an amazing series!
