Blackthorn Giveaway Winners Announced!
It’s a Blackthorn celebration day!!!
By now, most of you will know I don’t need much of an excuse to be celebrating something Blackthorn related, but this truly is a special day for me. Three years ago today, Blood Shadows, the first book in my Blackthorn series, was published.
Someone asked me earlier how I was feeling three years ago today. The honest answer? A nervous wreck! But it was also an incredible day. Believe it or not, Blackthorn was actually sixteen years old by that point – it had been a labour of love whilst I held down a teaching job and worked on other books in the years that passed. At the time, I had no intention of attempting to get it published. Instead, I wrote it for the love of writing it – and I just couldn’t stop.
Blackthorn has come a very long way since then – and my readers have been a HUGE part of making that happen. So, to say a big thank you for all your support, I ran a giveaway this week both here and on Facebook. Thank you for the amazing response and toΒ everyone who entered – whether via email, this blog, or Facebook. Congratulations to everyone who has won and, for anyone left disappointed, giveaways happen throughout the year so keep a look out! I’m already plotting my Jask-related giveaway for Blood Instinct next year. π
And the winners are (you’ve won the prize above your name)…
WINNERS – PLEASE EMAIL ME with your postal address. For those of you who have won signed prizes, don’t forget to let me know if you’d like them signed personally to you! And congrats again! π
And to finish, for those of you who have never seen it, I thought I’d share the book trailer that launched not only Blood Shadows but my Blackthorn series. The soundtrack Bookouture chose is called ‘Superhero’ by Tim McMorris. (Oh, and don’t be thrown by the original cover!)
Have a wonderful weekend!! <3 xxx

Huge congratulations to all the winners π what fantastic prizes. Happy anniversary Lindsay!! I hope you’ve been enjoying your day β€
I’m sooo looking forward to Blood Instinct and the hope that I’ll win Jask π xx
Thank you so very much, Julia! I had a fantastic day…immersed in Blood Instinct! No rest for the wicked, as the cliche says. π I’m thrilled you’re looking forward to it – hence no rest this end! π xx
P.S. I’ll break it to you gently but I seriously don’t think I’ll be able to give away Jask himself. Or maybe I could… xx
Happy Blackthorn Celebration and congratulations to all the winners! π The video book trailer for Blood Shadows was great…thank you for sharing it! I’d love to see one done for each of the books…mmm… <3
Thank you hugely, Suzanne! And I’m really pleased you enjoyed the Blood Shadows trailer. I keep forgetting how many readers who have joined the series these last couple of years would never have seen it. Ha – I’d love to have had one for each of the books too, but at least Bookouture snuck the rose in for Caleb and Leila’s story. Maybe we need one for the series finale?? π <3
Yay!!! Congrats to the lucky winners, such great prizes π
I remember the day, three years ago, so well. I knew you were talented and that Blackthorn would be an amazing success. Well done you! xxx
Oh, Tracey, thank you. :’-) It’s certainly been quite the journey so far, hasn’t it? Let’s pretend it’s never going to end. π New Voices seems like a lifetime ago now. Thanks for all of your support since then. xxx
Congrats winners and Lindsay! And I can’t wait until we get our chance at Jaskπππ
Thank you, Jennifer! I think we’re definitely going to have some fun with Jask. π <3 <3
Loved your most recent Blackthorn novel. It was great to revisit the first in the series. To check in on Kane and Caitlin. Also to hear more of the story. Twist and turns and WTF everywhere. But I’ve learn to expect that from this series. Can’t wait for the next installment. Don’t keep us waiting too long. Lindsay, you rock!!!
Oh, that’s brilliant! Thanks, Kara Lee! <3 I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. And I'm thrilled to know you're looking forward to the next one too. I promise to not keep you waiting a minute longer than I have to. π
