Stunning cover! It screams pick me up and read me. Believe me – I will. Congratulations Lindsay and bookouture!
Lindsay J. Pryor
Hi Tracey. Thanks so much! I’m thrilled with it – I think the cover designer and Bookouture have done an amazing job. It’s great to finally be able to share it. Thanks for letting me know what you think.
Jane Hunt
Interesting cover. It certainly has the urban edge. looking forward to reading the book.
Lindsay J. Pryor
Thanks, Jane. I know how much work has gone into it in the background so I appreciate every aspect of it. The urban edge was something I definitely wanted so a big tick there. Hope you enjoy the book!
Hana
Question!
When will we be able to preorder? (I don’t want the ebook; that cover’s just too stunning!)
Lindsay J. Pryor
Hi Hana! *waves towards Canada again* Isn’t it gorgeous? I welled up when I first saw it all. You’ll be able to order a hard copy on the release day. I know what you mean – I’m thinking posters, notebooks, someone’s already planning to get a tattoo (not me – I’m squeamish!).. 🙂
Incy Black
Pure class – am I kinky cos I wanted to stroke the cover? That’s the power of the draw. Thrilled for you.
Lindsay J. Pryor
Why thank you, Incy. Class was one of the aims. And Lol – no, a desire to stroke the cover is perfectly understandable. Either that or we’re both warped! But thank you so much – I’m chuffed you like it.
Why did I not receive an alert? This is awesome. Love it.
Lindsay J. Pryor
Hi Christine. Oh no – you must have missed my tweets! I’m transferring email followers over – sorry. Isn’t is fab though? I think Bookouture have done an amazing job. Thanks so much for coming to look. 🙂
Oh, Linds, the cover’s fabulous! I really did have to fight back tears when I saw it. It encapsulates your storyline perfectly, and if that and the back blurb doesn’t capture an audience, nothing will! I want a hard copy so it can take pride of place on my coffee table. You go,girl! Proud of you.
Lindsay J. Pryor
Aw, huge thanks, Tima. Don’t worry, I got tearful too! I think it encapsulates everything perfectly and yes, Bookouture did a fabulous job (yet again) with the back blurb. You’ll be able to get a hard copy no problem – they’ll be available the same time as the ebook. Are you aiming to be the first person in Australia to buy it, by any chance? Thanks, as always, for your support.
Sri
Wow, Stunning cover, Lindsay!! Adore it and the family crest too….
Lindsay J. Pryor
Hi Sri. Isn’t the cover gorgeous? I’m so totally thrilled. Oh yes, and the crest – I want it printed on everything: pencil, notepad, work folder… I might even spray my car black and have it on the bonnet. Unless that’s going too far?
Actually, I saw a book cover on an iPhone cover. Now there’s an idea. You might think of a tattoo, somewhere tasteful and get T to take a photo. We won’t tell anybody.
Lindsay J. Pryor
Oh yes! A Blood Shadows iPhone cover! I’m liking all these suggestions. But me and needles? :-O No. Absolutely not. No. No. Feeling faint. Need a lie down…
Are you trying to tell me the vampire queen is a wuss?
Actually, I’m not to fond of needles myself. 🙂
Lindsay J. Pryor
Lol! Er… well… kind of. I’m okay as long as it doesn’t involve needle-shaped things. Oh, and the dark. Petrified of the dark. And masks – full-face masks. I’d better stop now…
It’s absolutely stunning! Congratulations, Lindsay. I’m dying to read it.

Thanks so much, Lacey. I was absolutely ecstatic with the end result. I think it is so clever, so effective and just perfect for the book. Kane and Caitlin are spot on. Thanks for coming to look.
